Vinificazione
After destemming and crushing, the must undergoes alcoholic fermentation for 4–5 days in contact with the skins at a temperature of approximately 25°C, in order to extract colour and light tannins. Fermentation is completed off the skins, still in stainless steel tanks, where malolactic fermentation also takes place. Through a series of rackings, the wine completes its ageing in stainless steel for about 6 months. The short maceration is intended to preserve freshness and enhance the primary aromas of the variety.
Degustazione
Bright ruby red of medium intensity, it opens on the nose with aromas of fresh fruit and cherry, complemented by delicate floral notes of violet. On the palate the entry is full and warm, with enveloping, slightly astringent tannins that cleanse the palate; the finish recalls the same aromatic sensations, remaining persistent and harmonious.
