The municipality is entirely located in the Barolo area, which has always been considered one of the pillars of the denomination with 39 Mga. The Barolos of Serralunga have two particularities: the first of an organoleptic nature, is that of possessing an exceptional tannic structure, full-bodied and austere, but also refined and expressive and the second is that of offering an appreciable quality even in difficult years, in fact the grapes were sought after by the large wineries, to be used for assembly with those of other origins to increase their complexity.
